Tourist Visa in UAE
Tourist Visa in UAE
To embark on your dream trip to Dubai, you’ll need a tourist visa that suits your travel plans. In the UAE, tourist visas are typically issued for either single or multiple entries, valid for 30 or 90 days. Plus, you have the option to extend your stay by 30 days, twice, without leaving the country.
Dubai and Abu Dhabi both boast impressive tourism statistics. In 2019, Dubai welcomed over 8 million international visitors in the first half of the year, marking a 3% increase from the previous year. According to the 2019 Mastercard Global Destination Cities Index, Dubai maintained its position as the 4th most visited city worldwide. Abu Dhabi, on the other hand, has earned recognition as the fastest developing city in Africa and the Arab region.
Tourism isn’t just a facet of Dubai’s economy; it’s a driving force behind its growth. If you’re eager to explore this vibrant city, obtaining a Dubai tourist visa is the first step. Whether you opt for an electronic authorization (E-Visa) or seek assistance from Docwin to simplify the process, Dubai awaits your adventure.
If the visa on arrival or visa-free entry options is not applicable for a foreign tourist or individual, he/she may apply for a UAE Tourist visa. However, there is an age-related restriction for female applicants. The tourist visa in UAE is not allowed for females who are under the age of 18. This means that solo travel is not allowed. The female visitor under the age of 18 should be accompanied by parents during the visit. And this is mandatory for visa application.
Based on the revised rules, a special concession on UAE tourist visa is allowed for children with adult accompaniment. In this case, the child should be below the age of 18. However, this free visa is valid only for 3 months in a year. To be precise, it is valid from 15 th of July to 15 th of September every year.
A foreign national may apply for a tourist visa in UAE for the duration of 30 to 90 days according to the travel schedule. The applicant has both single-entry and multiple-entry options.
A visa applicant can rely on multiple channels to initiate the application procedure for their tourist visa to UAE. And those channels are airline companies, hotels and agencies. The applicant can make use of any of the aforementioned channels according to his/her priority.
Via airline companies – Airline companies offer visa services for travellers. However, there are certain terms and conditions to be met by the traveller. The terms and conditions may vary with the airline company. As part of the terms and conditions, the visa applicant should reserve the air ticket via the same airliner. The prominent companies that operate in the UAE are Emirates, Etihad, Air Arabia and Fly Dubai. Please visit the official website of your preferred airliner for additional information.
Via hotels and tour agents – UAE Tourist Visa services are also offered by registered agents and hotels. They too have certain terms and conditions regarding the reservation of tickets related to your travel and accommodation. Understand the terms and conditions and do not comprise the authenticity of the travel agent or company. Many fraudulent activities and deals take place in this domain. Do not submit important documents, proofs and personal information without verifying the authenticity of the agency. Always get in touch with the UAE embassy, if further assistance is required for authentication.
